ProofVid provides an AI-powered video content verification service that analyzes videos to detect inconsistencies between spoken words and on-screen text. Our service includes:

  • Speech-to-text transcription of video audio
  • Optical character recognition of text displayed in videos
  • Analysis and identification of inconsistencies between spoken and visual content
  • Reporting and management of identified issues

3. User Accounts

To use our services, you must create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account information and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to:

  • Provide accurate and complete information when creating your account
  • Update your information to keep it current
  • Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account
  • Ensure that you log out of your account at the end of each session

4. Payment and Credits

Our service operates on a credit-based system. You can purchase credits that are consumed when you process videos.

  • Credits are non-refundable once used for video processing
  • We charge 1 credit per second of video processed
  • Free credits expire 14 days after issuance if unused
  • We offer a money-back guarantee for credit purchases

5. User Content

You retain all rights to the videos you upload to our platform. By uploading content, you grant us a limited license to:

  • Process and analyze your videos for the purpose of providing our services
  • Store your videos and analysis results on our servers
  • Display the results to you through our platform

You represent and warrant that you own or have the necessary rights to the content you upload, and that your content does not violate the rights of any third party.

6. Prohibited Uses

You agree not to use our services to:

  • Upload or process content that is illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, or otherwise objectionable
  • Impersonate any person or entity or falsely state your affiliation with a person or entity
  • Interfere with or disrupt our services or servers
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our services, systems, or networks
  • Use our services for any purpose that violates any applicable laws or regulations

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, ProofVid shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from:

  • Your use or inability to use our services
  • Any unauthorized access to or use of our servers and/or any personal information stored therein
  • Any interruption or cessation of transmission to or from our services
  • Any bugs, viruses, or the like that may be transmitted to or through our services

8. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. We will provide notice of significant changes by updating the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page. Your continued use of our services after such modifications constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.
